TELEVISION

Kate has directed series and serial television as well as film.  She's directed high-end period drama, completed tight schedules and worked as lead director and series director; filming in HD and film - including super 16mm. She's trained in script development and editing, and worked with actors on the screen and in the theatre. She's taken crews abroad and filmed large action scenes including train and car crashes, a rescue at sea, WW1 battle scenes and a house fire.

THE POETRY OF WAR; POETRY OF THE ENVIRONMENT; POETRY OF LOVE: Lead Director & Producer. Three-part period drama for the BBC. Nom for an RTS. Featured on BBC 2018 website (1995/96)

SCENE: Producer on drama strand of 30-60 minute stand-alone films. Winner of RTS Award (1995)

WHAT SHALL WE TELL THE CHILDREN: Director of 6 part-drama explaining how to explain sex to children. Winner BMA silver medal (1995).
